Does the New York Subway map work without internet?
Yes. The New York map, station search and route planning work offline, so they keep working underground, in airplane mode and with roaming off. You sign in once so your saved journeys and history follow you between devices.
Which lines are included?
All 472 NYC Subway stations, with 475 separately mapped platform locations and 28 route variants, including three S shuttles and express variants. Separate line platforms are shown separately. Staten Island Railway, PATH, AirTrain and commuter rail are excluded.
How does it choose a route?
Pick fewest stops when you're in a hurry, or fewest changes when you have luggage. Offline MTA regular-schedule patterns, not live departures. Select weekday, Saturday, Sunday, rush hour or weekday late night. Periods combine scheduled patterns within a time window; they do not guarantee a timed connection. Temporary changes, holidays, weekend late nights and fares are not modelled. Source timetable ends 31 Oct 2026.

Yes. You can plan with these service patterns: Weekday daytime, Saturday daytime, Sunday daytime, Weekday AM rush, Weekday PM rush, Weekday late night.
Can I search New York stations by code?
Search by English name or station code where the network uses them, and metroinfogo finds the same station.
