How can we help?
Answers to the common questions. Still stuck? Email support@metroinfogo.com and a person will reply within 2 working days.
Getting started
Why do I need an account?
So your saved journeys, trip history and settings follow you to every phone or browser you sign in on. Sign up with email, or continue with Google.
Which cities are covered?
50 cities across Asia, Europe, the Americas and Oceania, with 7,522 stations and 447 lines. See the full list on the cities page.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Maps, station search and route planning run on your phone, so they work underground, in airplane mode and with roaming off. Sign-in, sync, updates and purchases need a connection.
Planning trips
How are routes chosen?
Pick fewest stops when you’re in a hurry, or fewest changes when you have luggage. Routes follow each network’s regular service patterns, including branches, loops and walking interchanges. In cities like New York or London you can pick the service period (for example weekday, weekend or late night).
Does it show live departures or disruptions?
Not yet. Routes come from dated network data, not a live feed, so they don’t include real-time departures, closures, fares or last trains. Always check station signage and the operator on the day.
How does trip mode work?
Start a trip from any journey and metroinfogo guides you: where to board, where to change and when your stop is next. Tap “Next stop” as you go, in the app or from the lock-screen notification on iPhone and Android. It never uses your location.
Can it remind me when to leave?
Yes. From a journey, tap “Remind me to leave” and choose a time and days (weekdays, weekends or every day). Reminders are created on your phone.
Can I search in the local script?
Yes, where the network uses it: for example Japanese, Korean or Chinese station names, and station codes like M08 or NS22.
Your account and data
Where is my trip history kept?
Your 100 most recent planned trips and your saved journeys are synced to your account. You can pause history or clear it in Settings; clearing history keeps saved journeys.
Can I stop sharing app activity?
Yes: Settings → Share app activity. It only records things like journeys planned and cities chosen, never your location.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account in the app, or follow the steps on our delete-account page. Turn off any Plus renewal first.
Plus and billing
What is metroinfogo Plus?
An optional subscription (₹99/month or ₹799/year on the web and Android; App Store price on iPhone) for features like saved places, journey collections and travel notes. Plus features arrive in app updates; everything else stays free.
How do I cancel?
Razorpay: Profile → metroinfogo Plus → Turn off renewal. App Store: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, for your first Razorpay payment within 7 days, and always for duplicate or mistaken charges. App Store refunds are handled by Apple. See the refund policy for details.
